    Most Asked Questions
Is the toilet to tub sliding transfer bench available in different lengths?

The Toilet to Tub Sliding Transfer Bench is only available in one size.  If the space available for this item is less than 65", it will not fit.  Please note that this is a non-returnable item, so measure carefully.

    HCPCS Codes

CareProdx.com does not bill third party insurance directly but we often get asked for HCPCS codes for our products.. When the vendor provides these codes, we will have them listed on the individual product pages for those items. If there is no HCPCS code on the products page, this means either there is not one for that particular item or the vendor has failed to provide it. That being said there are a couple of miscellaneous HCPCS codes you can apply and see if they work.

    E1399 Miscellaneous

E0240 Bath and Shower Equipment over $80.00

Though most bath and shower equipment is not covered by most insurance plans including Medicare and Medicaid, we have had customers use these codes successfully when pursuing reimbursement.

Always have a well written letter of medical necessity from your doctor when seeking reimbursement from any third party payment source.

How heavy can a door be and still work with your commercial openers?

ANSWER:  Either of the commercial units should work. If a person can open the door with reasonable effort.

How do I determine which side of the shower chair I want the drop arm on?

To determine the correct side of the shower chair to place your drop arm, always determine the side as the person sits in the chair.  Left drop arm would be on the users left hand side. Consequently, a right drop arm would be on the users right hand side. Always use the perspective of the person sitting in the chair.

Need a new button for my Stanley door opener

Sorry we cannot supply that part.  Stanley door openers can only use Stanley actuators.  Our 300 MHz and 318 MHz do not work because Stanley uses a 418 MHz system.
